The first stop was King David's Museum... closed!!!Actually I was looking for Hall of the Last Supper...

Next stop is the Church of the Dormition, where it is believed Virign Mary lived here until she fell into an 'eternal sleep'

The Church is a fortress-like building, with a conical roof and four corner towers. Beside this is the Benedictine monastery/abbey.

The centre apse shows a mosaic picture of Mary and child Jesus above the altar.

One of the 6 side-chapels in the church. This chapel depicts Mary holding child Jesus, surrounded by Bavarian bishops.

The floor is decorated with the symbols of the Zodiac, names of Prophets, and a verse from Proverbs (8, 23-25) written on its circumference.

Under the church is the crypt with the wood and ivory sculpture of the 'sleeping' Virgin

Next is to find the Hall of the Last Supper. I have passed by this junction many times and if I realized what coenaculum means, then things could be a bit easier...
