I contiued on until I found myself in this older section of the city, before I bacltracled all the way under the immense afternoon heat.
| Finally I passed the first city wall and arrived in Place lalla Aouda
| Finally I arrived at my destination - Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, who was very generous to let non-muslims in to visit
| If only this sign is shown at Bab el-Mansour instead of here... I didn't have to waste an hour in walking

The Mausoleum has many empty courtyards decoratedin a sober style, allowing visitors to leave behind them the noise and bustle of the city.
| View through behind the double door at the entrance of the Mausoleum
| Place lalla Aouda at dusk
| A flying stork... just as I spent ages looking for it in Volubilis
