Vincent Poon :: Murano (4th Sep)

Murano, the only French restaurant in the ship, was simply the best! (and the most expensive if you did not buy a package) The food, the place and the dining experience was surely top-notch, oh and the waiter who served us was very handsome too! (not that I really care)

Murano is a nicely decorated French restaurant
This is the menu. Unfortunately, Caviar is not included in our package
The bread and the butter was by far the best in the entire cruise, that's why they would only let you pick one instead of giving you the whole basket as per other restaurants

This is something that we did not order, well, we will eat anything that is put on the table!
This is the Creamy Maine Lobster Bisque, with Leek and Shallot Flan, Cognac Cream, Crispy Sweet Yellow Corn Beignets
This is the Diver Scallop Wellington Style, Baked in Puff Pastry; Black Truffle Emulsion, Spinach Fondue
Stephan (I think that's his name) was preparing the Murano Lobster on the spot!

With his look and his skills, I think Stephan does not need to work here...
Voila the lobster - (Cognac Flambéed Warm Water Lobster Tail, Fresh Basil, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Dijon-Cream) and the taste? Certainly could not be complained!!
The desserts were: Grand Marnier Soufflé, Le Petit four and a selection of trifles and mousses
We were so full that we could not even take a bit on this... that was a shame! (and a waste too!)
