I stayed in 2 hotels in Fes, one in the new city and another one in a place far far away... despite the distance (and the price), the ksar de Fes is quite a nice boutique hotel.

Hotel Splendid, in the new city, where I spent the first night
The corridor looks ok
The inside is getting ugly... though for US36 1 night I am not complaining
Not as bad as the bathroom, though I must say is still better than mine in Casablanca's

Stairs look painted and refurbished
The pool view is nice...
So are those pool-view rooms.. (from the outside)
