2006 Jun 14:
Woke up at 10:30 and took the Mekong Express Bus at 12:30. Arrived Phnom Penh at 18:30. Lodged at New Lotus Guesthouse at the Monivong Blvd and had dinner there for Vietnam food. Spent some time around the neighbor and had a bubble tea and finished off the day.

2006 Jun 15:
Woke up at 12:00 and headed off to look for another guesthouse at the riverside. As recommended by a tuktuk driver, finally lodged at Paragon Hotel with a convenient location with lots of restaurants around. Walked along the riverside and got in the Royal Palace and spent a couple of hours. Russian Market came next. Spent some 15 minutes there only as it closes at 17:00. Dinner at 123 Chinese Restaurant. Good food and price.

2006 Jun 16:
First stop post office then took a moto for National Museum. Things were not as good as Royal Palace. Then it was a serious Russian Market trip. Spent some time on walking around. Went back to hotel for a break and dinner at LanZhou Noodle shops at the New York Hotel. Good price. Then headed to FCC for a beer. Had a drink at Phnom Penh Cafe with free internet at last.

2006 Jun 17:
Purchased the Mekong Express Bus tickets to Sihanoukville early at 09:30. At 10:00 took a tuktuk to S-21 Museum (Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum) and spent a cruel 2 hours there. It was worth the time and worth to pay for a guide for introduction. Lunch at a guesthouse right across the museum and headed off to the Killing Field at 13:30. Be warned, lots of real skulls there. Russian markets at last and then dinner. After dinner, it was a disco, a bowling alley, then Naga Casino and then the Children Playground (like back to '70s). Finished off the day at Phnon Penh Cafe again.

2006 Jun 21:
Took another early Mekong Express at 07:45 back to Phnom Penh at 12:00. Central Market this time and spent some time there. Dinner at Lanzhou Noodles again and Phnom Penh Cafe again for late night.

2006 Jun 22 & 23:
Took a tuktuk and drove around and finally to Russian Market again for some more shoppings. Went to lakeside Happy Guesthouse for tea and watched the sunset and met a new friend. Dinner at Happy Guesthouse and then went to Heart of Darkness for a beer and music.
Took tuktuk to the Phnom Penh International airport. Time to go back to Hong Kong via Singapore on 23 Jun 06.
It was a great journey.
